DOWNTOWN MONTAGE

Within walking distance of the reviving Foxtown area of downtown Detroit and the revived Cultural Center area to the north this sector of the Cass Corridor is now an area of increasing speculation.  This area's main drawback seems to lie with the over sixty social agencies which, while ministering to Detroit's needy, makes the sector less conducive to development.  On the positive side are the many finely appointed 19th and 20th century ruins that would be a gold mine in many other cities.
