Light dims in the labyrinthine Tiger Stadium where fans experience the unique feeling being a part of a historical pageant. The view is of the left field fair pole and line.

Tiger Stadium

Fair or foul? The demise of Major League Baseball at Tiger Stadium leaves holes in the heart of its fans. None is greater than that of this author.

Gone but for memory is the Babe Ruth home run that my father witnessed.  Gone is Kirk Gibson's dramatic morale crushing home run in the 1984 World Series amid the waves of delirious fans.

Lost is the homerun snatching right field overhang. Lost is the onfield flag pole in baseball's deepest centerfield providing the chaos for inside the park homeruns. Lost is another part of 20th Century Detroit.
