Orchestra Hall Detroit

Within thirty minutes of a wrecking ball demolition, Orchestra Hall was barely saved in the 1970's. It has become a beacon for the struggling preservation movement in Detroit.

A gleaming triumph in an otherwise losing war, Detroit's Orchestra Hall has been lovingly restored.

Its near acoustically perfect auditorium is again home to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra after recovering from years of neglect which gutted its magnificent interior.
