THE OLD CASS TECH

While most of Detroit's high schools have gone through their highs and lows, Cass Tech has always maintained its stance as one of the finest. Known for academics, sports, and particularly for its performing arts programs, Cass Tech has parented Jack White, Diana Ross, and countless names in the Jazz world. In 2006, Cass Tech controversially relocated to a new, state of the art facility. Now the debate is on concerning how to deal with the original structure.
