As I said in an earlier post, much of it has been gutted & scrapped by urban miners.

Wouldn't that end up making it easier to fit that jail to their needs? Y'all are such bummers sometimes.

Heck no! A trashed prison does not equate to a great jail. What will the scrappers take? All metal, wiring, plumbing, electrical, anything that has a tiny bit of value and is not nailed down.
