    I had to call them up last week and complain to them, which was a waste of time.

    I sent a ticket into them a good few days before it was due, and they waited until after the 30 days to cash my check, then they send me a $20.00 late fee. I got my bank statement mailed to me before my notice of having to give them more money.

    All they told me was to go complain to my post office. Screw them.

    I guess the lesson here is to send it delivery confirmation with or with out signature. Whenever I have to deal with a government office in any kind of legal way, I always send it priority is only $4.80 w/Delivery confirmation. Never had a problem yet.....

    Or, just do what I did last time I had to pay a parking ticket, which is use their online system.

    Back in the day when I did computer support work for Parking, I recall that the "meter maids" had to produce a certain number of tickets [[quota) each day otherwise they would hear about it. I can't imagine things have changed.
