cc better them, then the strong arm, high interest, non deferments of those free market loans...when my student loans were enforced it wasnt a big deal with lower interest rates and no threat to ruin credit is something happened.. my kids private loans are no where near the student friendly ones that most of us knew..

Never better for a absolute power to gain power. Why? No choices exist with a coercive government monopoly. Free market loans on the other hand, can be shopped around. Furthermore, if a person must, as a last resort, default then they may be able to get protection via bankruptcy and renegotiation.....try that with Uncle Sam.

rb336, Pres. B.O. knows full well how his base feels regarding the US PATRIOT Act.

I knew how he voted while he was a Senator, and I remembered the flak he received while campaigning for President on that issue.

I just chalk it up to the silence from Pres. B.O.'s administration being deafening.

He knew how it would play out, he just didn't want this to distract from the laundry list of programs that he is pushing for currently.

"Cat In The Hat" is a bestseller decades after it was written, so what's your point?

You don't hear liberals going around screaming BEST SELLER! at the top of their lungs, when liberal writers of all stripes have far outsold fascist conservative ones.

I cherry picked through "Liberal Fascism" at the book store, and read Glenda Speck's tome with him depicted as a "comrade" on the cover while gagging on my coffee, again at the book store- I won't buy it, naturally, so I'm stuck reading it through.

That should be sufficient torture to make your little fascist heart skip a beat.

What I refused to waste time on is anything by Mann Coultergeist, or Michelle Balkin'.

Thankfully I have an Evelyn Wood reading dynamics course under my belt!
