All other ideological stuff aside, I agree with EMG and EastsideAl's sentiments about businesses that treat people poorly deserving to go out of business. Yeah, it's a shame the employees should suffer, but at almost any other time in our country's history, we'd accept it as a normal course of business. Do bad, get bad results. In a normal economy the employees would get another job. I don't feel too sorry for the owners. Especially if they practiced predatory business tactics. They should have enought money, by far, to live a decent life. Unless their personal finances were as bad as their business practices.
