Afghanistan: Hello?

Now there goes a boom at the airport,speculation is it was a suicide bomber.

Seems like some of the hard liners within the troops are not happy with this faction of the Taliban announcing that they were going to address woman’s rights.

So they go back to ISIS-K and Al-qaeda and rejoin the more radical side,I am not sure why we are putting so much faith in the Taliban at this time,they may have overrun the country but they are not in control of it.

It is one thing to take a city but another to hold it.

Once we leave all the other factions are going to come out into the light and fight for control against them ISIS -K is small right now but they will regroup and we already see now how bomb happy they are.

As they reform and build ranks,we will see first hand again why we were there in the first place,and we will not be there to keep it on that dirt.

Was that the plan ? To arm the Taliban so they would have an edge over the fight against the regrouping ISIS-K and Al-Qaeda?

The explosion with unknown number of casualties was at the gate where Americans were supposed to go to,the state department sent out a warning two days ago for the Americans not to go to the airport and stay where they were.

Once we and our allies leaves the airport,the war will start in order to remove the Taliban from the cities by the other factions,any Americans left trapped in the middle of it will have a slim chance of survival.

Now they will not be able to continue the flights.

So we are left with 2 choices

Bring the troops back and fight for the extractions of the remaining Americans.

Leave the remaining Americans there at their fate.

We can bring in the black hawks with troops and extract the remaining Americans,but the risk with that is a repeat of Black Hawk down which would then require escalation.

The deadline of the 31st is not achievable,because between us and our allies we are going need at least 24 hours to transport all of the logistics out that we cannot leave there,let alone the supporting troops and staff that are the airport.

So that kicks it back to ceasing evacuations by the 29th - 3 days from now.

The irony in all of this,the President that fled - fled with planes filled with cash and cars,imagine the physiological aspect that had in the Afghanistan troops when the leader sent the message of everybody for themselves,get what you can.
