Anyways, this Administration is so secretive and so duplicitous and lies so routinely that it could be any number of things they are hiding from us and lying to us about. At the very least, he has some type of neurological issue. Remember the various speeches he gave where he was slurring his words pretty hard? The obvious and ever-increasing cognitive decline? There is something seriously wrong with him. And keep in mind that he has a small army of minders who carefully craft his public appearances and movements and would be very careful to choreograph things in the best way to hide any deficits. This is not without precedent in American Presidential history, that's the EXACT thing that Reagan's staff did late in his second term when his dementia was really kicking into gear.

Just days after the court's historic landmark ruling extending Title VII protection to both gay/lesbian Americans AND Transgender Americans, the high court has now ruled against the Trump Administration on DACA.

In a 5-4 decision with Chief Justice John Roberts siding with the court's four liberal justices, the Court found that Trump failed to give adequate justification for terminating DACA, as required by law.

As a result of the decision, DACA remains the law of the land and the 700,000 undocumented youths enrolled in it remained shielded by law from deportation.

That's two in a row where Roberts voted with the liberals, I think we found the new Anthony Kennedy.

Yeah, the cases they refused to hear were also losses for the Trump Admin. In addition to the sanctuary city case, there were also numerous gun rights cases that SCOTUS declined to hear, which would have expanded the judicial interpretation of the Second Amendment to include an individual right to carry a gun in public had the conservative majority voted as a bloc.

The only real "win" for Trump was that SCOTUS also declined to take up the issue of "qualified immunity" for the police.

The LGBTQ Title VII case was vicious sting for Trump because not only was it a 6-3 decision, but that sixth vote [[and the author of the majority ruling) was none other than Neil Gorsuch, a Trump appointee. That ruling, and especially the Gorsuch vote, was like a flaming knife through the heart of Trump's Evangelical base.

You are aware that the ruling against DACA was only a decision on how it was presented by the administration.

The Justice said,the ruling has nothing to do with the legality’s of DACA only the wording used to make the case against it.

If you remember it was no different then when the Muslim ban went down,first two tries were denied over the exact same reason,third try was successful.

So it was not a win for DACA.

Correct me if I am wrong but there have been many conversations and hearings over justice picks.

All the drama was about stacking the deck towards the conservatives views.

I became more aware of Juneteenth for the last few of decades or so. It is more known in the southern states than here -- specifically Texas where it's a national holiday.

It was well documented that the family never even owned slaves and were actually one of the rare ones that paid the workers a wage.

Now the push is to outlaw the word “Antebellum” because it is related to the times when slavery existed in this country.

Antebellum is a Latin term that means "before the war."

It was a period in history,next let’s burn all of the colonial houses down because of its relation in time.

So is that where we are really at ,destroy any part of history that has anything related to slavery except the little known instance that occurred in the 1800s in Texas,if nobody remembers that they are racist.

So when does the other races get to destroy everything that did not suit them in history ?

The Irish,the Chinese and all the other immigrants that worked as slaves in this country?
