Hi friends--
I am doing some research for an author and what he is interested in is some of the "creepier" aspects of Corktown. If you have any interesting ghost/murder stories, please let me know and thank you in advance!!
Best,
Jen R

Did you check todays Police logs, and/or drive thru there tonight?
Creepy was the bullet proof glass on all the party stores.
And the wind cries Marooouuuoooon at night. Down Mich Ave.
Well known fact among DYes people . And no, I'm not welcome back after busting the doorframe of a Bodega
with my drunkin elbow, whoops. Saved my life.
Don't get me wrong - I used to hang there in the early 80's. with the AOH after the spring festival.

Wow...wild! Glad to hear you are okay. Yup, I have been looking all over but my client is looking for info between mid 1800s-mid 1900s. AOH sounds interesting!
I'm wondering where all the party stores are in Corktown? and the Bodega?
That's creepy....where was he?
A New York style Bodega is a neighborhood fresh goods store front of less than 1000'I'm wondering where all the party stores are in Corktown? and the Bodega?

And my complaint at the time, were pushy customers, not the store itself,
and don't get my Irish up !
Hmm, no Corktown stories, but I know about a Witch in old Delray.
