No longer in Detroit, but his father worked welding the Ambassador Bridge and then Neil ran the welding shop until he retired.

Neil, who lived in the organ pipe decks and always had a smile on his face, even if you hit a few of the keys in the middle of the night for a joke. I saw some people do it several times.
