Kenney Jones is still alive.Doesn't that make him the last of the original members?

Late interview with Bobby Keys who RIP'd last weekend. No wonder the Rolling Stones hired him back in 72:

PAM: I think that the TAMI show you mentioned was perhaps the best collection of popular music on one stage, ever.
Here is James Brown, from that show...

Pete Seeger recently passed away and a folk song, Lovely Agnes, came to mind. It turned out that it wasn't Pete Seeger's song but not wanting to waste a lovely song, I'll put it on this thread instead of the Pete Seeger thread. It's about a young woman who leaves Wisconsin to live her life out on a farm near Crystal Lake, Michigan.
chorus:
Oh Agnes, won't you go with me? We'll be married in style
And we'll cross Lake Michigan, so blue and so wide,
We'll cross over Lake Michigan, 'til we come to the shore,
And our orchards will blossom for our babies as they're born.
Last verse:
Now the years have gone and past, like the fruit on the trees,
And your children have children with babes on their knees
And they all join in the summertime, by the Crystal Lake shore,
To greet lovely Agnes, now 12 years and four-score.

Yeah the whole thing was good. Here's Jan and Dean singing the theme song which was written by PF Sloan and Steve Barri. They also wrote a bunch of other stuff including "You Baby" and "Eve of Destruction".PAM: I think that the TAMI show you mentioned was perhaps the best collection of popular music on one stage, ever.

Got back into Devo after the news of Bob Casale passing away. Which led to re-listening to the best tribute band of all time: Polysics. Pretty much picked up where Devo left off after Freedom of Choice, with good doses of Talking Heads, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, and a dozen other 80's bands thrown in.
Noisy, fun Devo-inspired Japanese pop-punk, the beginning of this video is a send-up of Devo's "The Truth of De-evolution" film:

And their brilliant, Devo-mutated-style cover of My Sharona:

Let me know if you like this or not:
i give the the video a 10, and the song a 10.
