It's a shame they had to shut down NYC for a small-ish snowstorm, but they
probably had in mind the Buffalo, NY mid December snowstorm where Wales Center, NY
got 85" [[7') over the course of several days ! [[as reported by the Washington Post and the national T.V. news).
