Sorry Bill, clearly they can't stay there. I can be bitchy its true, but I am looking into orgs that can help relocate these individuals who are quite varied in needs, abilities and mental health. Different folks have different dilemmas Not sure who you talked to but I found articulate people highlighting that they would rather freeze than face the depravity of the bulk of the shelters. Certainly did not talk to all and yes a fair portion of homeless have problems that living in a tent will not solve.

Its the holiday, not much can be done Until after the new year, herding people away is no solution. The point should be solutions not contempt. Intelligent relocation. jobs for those capable should be a priority.Assisted living or disability income for the mentally wounded and placement in government housing.

Compassion not hostility works wonders. I get hugs and kisses. They want solutions too. I'll do my best to bring in help for relocation.
