I would be interested in this, if only I knew exactly what time it came on...
Is there a section in the show dedicated to old Detroit commercials? I love all the old ads and jingles. "Get on the right track, to 9 Mile & Mack..." "Oooo-oooo-oooo Deitricht furs..." "Mel Farr, Superstar, for far better deal." Love that stuff.
If the Freep can be believed, Monday, Channel 56, 8 pm.
As a historical Society with a published hardcover, we know the hoops that get jumped through. Our book was published with a grant through MotorCities, but we had to find matching funds etc. We hope to complete a documentary and work on establishing partners as we speak.
You go Ed!

MikeyinBrooklyn,
There will be vintage commercials.
Wingnatic,
Unfortunately, I don't think they will be streaming it.
And...it has just came on as I type this, the Soupy segment is on right now.
EDIT: Well, this thread's OP just made a television appearance during that segment.

We live in Minnesota, but I should would have loved to watch this. Any way to get a copy on DVD?
Oh and thanks Ed , you did a great job !
I still have my official Birdbath Club membership card and pin from the late 1950's. I remember watching him at lunch time on TV. I could do the Soupy Shuffle too!!
.
I hope they show clips from Hot Fudge! I love that program about feelings.
