Rockefeller Center has a cool lobby, as does the Fisher Building. The Empire State building is more subdued, but has some great steamline moderne accents throughout it.
Strike the Fisher and Empire, no tilework there, just paint, granite and brass.

From the new archive page of St. Paul's Cathedral Detroit, article written in 1911 about the tilework in the Cathedral... intact as installed and beautifully maintained.
