Dearborn orders 'dangerous' office tower demolished
https://www.crainsdetroit.com/real-e...-be-demolishedMayor Abdullah Hammoud said Thursday in a Facebook post that the 12-story Village Plaza office tower along Michigan Avenue is to be demolished due to dangerous conditions.Hammoud wrote that there have been "several failed attempts to rehabilitate the property and address the notices of violation."
"This blighted property has negatively impacted the surrounding neighborhoods and our downtown for too many years," Hammoud said.
