The woman was terrified; I'm sure pulling over at a payphone was exactly what she wanted to do. And anyway, where the hell do you find a phone in the city of Detroit or anywhere anymore?
Obviously, if they took her purse, they took her cellphone too.

Fair enough....no cell phone...and def no pay phones...but wouldn't you stop at a police station? Thats what I would do. I for sure would not drive to another country......

This story does sound fishy.

It's not obvious that they took her cell phone. They obviously didn't take her car keys when they stole her purse. And there wasn't a phone in the building?
