    Nice.

    Each of those photos shows a small alcove. What was the originally intended purpose of those alcoves? Were they for telephones?

    I can't believe such a beautiful renovation in such an otherwise dubious area...magnificent!

    Is the whole complex being renovated or just this particular building?

    My Dad and I used to deliver the Free Press on Merton in the 70's. The LaVogue was a beautiful building [[the brick work was amazing). My favorite was a couple of buildings down at 275 Merton. Beautiful foyer, amazing brickwork.
