A good illustration of why we need Wiki Leaks on a local level. ?Law enforcement? won't enforce FOIA laws against their own interests. Nor are they likely to enforce laws they disagree with. Overtly or covertly, they'll undermine almost anything interrupting their revenue streams and political ideology.

This is the close to what we need for a local Wiki Leaks. Quite eye opening on who gets a free pass.

it lost big no matter how you try to spin it. Legalization is fine with me.I am simply pointing out that the idea that this shit is medicinal by virtue of loud obnoxious adverts in the metrotimes all saying guaranteed approval strikes me as blatantly transparent....which it is .....

The Calif defeat indicates that unfortunately categorical legalization is a ways off.

It's much safer to do raids like this that to go after real crooks. They might fight back.

You're right on. It's know as civil forfeiture and is a growing trend around the world apparently. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asset_forfeiture

And for those who don't know about Rainbow Farm, that Michigan farm should have penetrated the national consciousness like Waco. It's just the timing was off: September 3, 2001. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Farm
The Playboy Article at the bottom of the page is great, better than the book IMO.
