Default Magic Box - Carillon [Official Video]

Released in 2000 by Time Records, it's the first single by italo dance project Magic Box. Tristano De Bonis from Latina [[near Rome, Italy), the real name of Magic Box, released its music with Time Records till the end of 2003. He began djing at 18 years as a DJ for parties and discos. He mixed his voice with various instruments such as guitar, bass and drums. His frequent trips to England, Holland and Germany brought him new contacts in the music world. He contributed to the songs of his sister Erika too.
The ultimate jumping-into-and-out-of-the-system video. Very Felliniesque.

Incredible political song relevant beyond the Nigerian wars of the time ala Fela's take on the ideas of governance and corruption [[above ext. youtube vid) 14:00 onward and 17:40 or so: Democrazy, crazy-demonstration, demonstration of craze, etc. Awesome!
Teacher Don't Teach Me Nonsense Video:

    Lyrics [[in part):

TEACHER, TEACHER-O NA THE LECTURER BE YOUR NAME
TEACHER, TEACHER-O NA THE LECTURE BE THE SAME

AS SOON TEACHING FINISH YES, DA THING-EE IT GON DIE IT DEY-O

Let's get down, to the underground spiritual game
We all sing together, play music together in happiness
All you have to do is sing what I play on my horn
    Now Let's go...

All the wahala, all the problems,
All the things, all the things they go do,
    For this world go start,
When the teacher, schoolboy and schoolgirl jam together

    I go let you know

    When we be pikin
    FATHA/ MAMA BE TEACHER
    When we dey for school

    Of mismanagement

I cannot get enough of the Foo Fighters with Zac Brown doing Black Sabbaths War Pigs on The Late Show with Letterman. This is a real treat, even Letterman seems out of breath. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/vi...erman-20141014

    Default Patti Smith "Dancing Barefoot"

Patti Smith - Dancing Barefoot Lyrics | MetroLyrics

    She is benediction
    She is addicted to thee
    She is the root connection
    She is connecting with he

Here I go and I don't know why
    I fell so ceaselessly
Could it be he's taking over me

Heavy Music Pt 2 - Bob Seger and the Last Herd. Part 2 is the flip side of the single. Part 1 also appears on the Smokin OPs LP. The backing track is the same but the vocals are a lot different. Pt 2 rarely gets played. I like it better though.

Hey oladub, thank you for this anti-garbage fix.

What a great artist. I wouldn't change a thing about her, don't mind a bit she has none of the Kim Kardashian shine. She certainly gets my vote for Da Voice.

    Default 70s Anthem

Love the Band. That puts me in mind of my very favorite 70s song. I just looked it up today after one of those dumb FB quizzes assigned me I Will Survive as my 70s anthem. Nope, it was this one:

Just heard Ian McLagan of the Small Faces and Faces has died. If you ever run across his book "All the Rage" I recommend it.

Doesn't that make him the last of the original members?
