I LIKE them! Thanx.
How about these guys?

Not as much... they're not as refined. [[IMO)
Refined? Depends on the song. The CCDs can get wild if they need to.

Had this earworm today:
Early this morning, I had to spin Stanley Clark's School Days...both sides...since I think I overheard on WDET that he is coming to town soon. Couldn't get it out of my head last night, thought this would help. It has been 38 years since that recording was pressed...and it is as fresh to me now as it was the first time I heard it.
Majestic, I am quite sure I heard...wonder what night? gotta look it up...
If you enjoyed re-visiting "School Days"-- the track itself, that is-- you may enjoy this one, from one of his former band-mates.Early this morning, I had to spin Stanley Clark's School Days...both sides...since I think I overheard on WDET that he is coming to town soon. The truth is that the LP was not very good, really, but this track is, well, rather highly caffeinated.

Also, please try to not notice the painfully dated cover-art.
[[I was going to re-open my previous post and toss that in, but I see that, in this forum, editing a post is like requesting an adjustment from the IRS.)
Great tune, hadn't heard it in a long time. Heres another "Wind" song I like.

Another one from the Carolina Chocolate Drops. Found out Dom Flemons, the guy introducing this song recently left the group.

I'm reading Ed Sanders' memoirs so here's one from the Fugs:

Listening to Dino Danelli's "Boom" from the Rascals' Freedom Suite - all 15 minutes of it. It may be the first track on a rock album that was just a drum solo. The man should be a legend
Love this. So much talent.▶ Everlast & Santana - Put Your Lights On [[Live) - YouTube
File this under things I found while looking for other things. Cream doing a Falstaff beer radio spot. Wow!

In all fairness, Kellogg's was the Monkees' sponsor. Here are some more bands who sold out:

Now this?
Agree- that's worse than the Monkees. They didn't have a choice, the Stones did.
I guess for the flip side you have Neil Young:

Thanx Pam. These 3 bands, were media "contrived" to make money, so I can see them selling product, especially The Monkees. Cream was the acid-dropping, booze swilling, disrespectful spearhead of the anti-establishment movement, [[how long since anyone's heard that phrase) so a commercial venture seems so unlikely for them. I sent the clip to my old Gtrande-Cream-head buddy, who's also in disbelief. Probably done @ an early stage of their career, and the movement, before bands like that were shunned.
Never heard of them before, listened to 3 more of their songs after your post, can't wait to get hold of some of their music. Thanx.
