hmmmm actually, the guy in the background looks like ronnie wood, but small faces ... no, jeff beck group
wow, your almost right on. The guy in the back is Ron Wood, the guy in the front is Keith Richards. Ron Woods was never in the Small Faces, and wasnt in the Rolling Stones when the pic was taken. Here is another pic.
yeah, I meant faces. Not used to seeing KR not looking like he should have died 50 years ago. of course, the picture with rod would just boost my JBG guess, except know that I think about it, I don't recall jeff beck dressing up like that. Did RS ever do anything with Woods' "barbarians" projects?
Jeff Beck group would have been a great choice for the 2nd pick.
Nobody ever recognizes Keith Richards which totally foils my trickery.
The band was the Faces on there last show and Richards was joining in.
Regarding the Barbarians, I think Woods sang and I dont thing Rod was ever involved.
I miss that name that band thread we used to do.
cool. i would have been right except for accidentally adding the "small" to it
Heres a rare clip with Woods in his earlier band, The Birds, not to be confused with The Byrds.

Brownsville Station. forgot how good they really were.
The New Mastersounds. I've been digging these Brits that play old school funk.

I came across a woman named Solveig last week which made me wonder if that was a name I remembered from the Master Builder or Peer Gynt. Mt wife assured me that it was from Solveig's Song in Peer Gynt. I followed up by watching some Youtube versions. I liked this one best.
Marita Solberg singing SOLVEIG'S SONG accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic
Spent some time listening to one of the greatest funk groups ever. Parliament-Funkadelic or the P-Funk. This is one of there classics One nation under a groove. The music is still as funky now as when it was made back in the 70's
