What other songs are from that era? My mind is fogged and cobwebbed. Thanks Garwood.

Willie Nelson & Toots Hibbert, "Worried Man"
Tom Waits "Step Right Up"
Wall of Voodoo, "Mexican Radio"
Warren Zevon, "Carmelita"
Delbert McClinton, "When Rita Leaves"
Clifford Brown, "Cherokee"
Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, "Twisted" & "Jumpin' At The Woodside"
Eddie Jefferson, "Filthy McNasty"
I also ran across a parody song done by a guy named Rick Cormier called "Let Me See Your Titties Bare", a take-off of "Teddy Bear" by Elvis, which was actually very good!

Funny how nearly a year after posting this... the group [[totally unknown outside of Italy a year ago) is now in Detroit today performing at the Fox, with a sumptuous banquet at the Detroit Opera House following...I was in a classical mood today.... and listened to a very nice different genre...
1) Opera meets Pop Music.... this trio of future opera stars [[1st singer has already been named the next Andrea Bocelli)... these incredibly talented youngsters are only 16... Justin Bieber move over... they're already #3 on the European Billboard charts... and are touring America this year with their 1st album out in 3 weeks... group and album called "Il Volo".... They were at the "Haiti We Are The World -25" songfest, and even Celine Dion wants to sing with them...

Stuff from my homeboy Patrick Watson and of course anything by Little Dragon especially this collaboration with Gorillaz. This ozzie radio take sounds great and Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon is smashingly beautiful.
Recently, I have been listening to a lot of Adele. I think she's by far the most talented singer out there right now.
Thanks to you guys I just got lost on youtube and the Four Seasons for the last hour.

Did you see the Jayhawks last week, Pam? They were wonderful, and Rayland Baxter, who opened up, was also very good. His songs were beautiful and melancholy - very nice stuff.
