Yes, everyday would wreak havoc on the pocketbook. That aside, of course, even if you had a bottomless pocketbook, you really couldn't do so without sitting in traffic for multiple hours a day, frittering your life away. So you wouldn't.

The point she's making is that it's easy to do that in Detroit. No traffic, ticket prices are more affordable, it's not sold out 3 months in advance, and you can still sleep in that morning.

    Well, no.

Nero does not believe the suburbs will collapse. Nero does wonder if Michigan can support a thriving Detroit, thriving Detroit suburbs, thriving Battle Creek, thriving Flint, thriving Grand Rapids, and thriving Saginaw. Nero would also like to see Windsor, Toledo, and Gary thrive.

Nero wonders if such thoughts will end in despair. Nero wishes he could help more. Nero wishes he could help more. Nero wishes he could help more.

Could such a balancing act play out even between Detroit and her suburbs? Is one or the other doomed to failure, or can both city and suburbs thrive on indefinitely?

Nero refers to himself in third person. Nero looses all interest in what he has to say from everyone on the forum.
