That's a bunch of BS you need to come stronger than that.

He won because he got a lot of the independent vote, along with the democratic base, plus he turned some red states blue.

Bunch of liberals and blacks voted for him is a weak analysis

Do you really think that "reviews", "reengagements", "announcements of good intentions" will impress the independent voters? I think they are looking for results. By the way, the only balls Obama has put into play are the little white ones during his weekly rounds of golf.
There's a reason why results are hard to come by and I'll let you figure out the reason for that. Plus do the words Crawford Texas and vacation have any correlation for you

what a waste of borrowed money that our children's grandchildren will still be having to make the interest payments on
Funny, that's how I would describe the two wars that Obama inherited from Mike's cult...It would be necessary to add tens of thousands of lives to the equation, and lifetime health care costs for the tens of thousands of wounded American Military, but we know that Mike's cult doesn't really give a rat's ass about "life" once "life" has left the womb. [[Some may recall that the leaders of Mike's cult boldly assured us that the oil "liberated" from the Iraqi people would cover all the costs. It didn't.)

I also wonder if we've already paid off the debts that Mike's cult ran up during the Reagan years, such as the cost of training, funding and arming radical muslims to fight a superpower in Afghanistan, but perhaps that's material for another thread.

Have you been fooled. I'm only going to comment on the first ten things here, since I don't have all night. I'll just put in a number and then my comment to the corresponding statement above.

    1. The government did not bail out the auto industry. They loaned them money, which they have paid back. A bailout is something that does not have to be paid back.
    2. OK, I like this one, but the troops are still there..... If I recall they were supposed to be home within 18 months of his presidency.
    3. Are you serious? All he does is apologize about how horrible the USA is.
    4. Guantanamo isn't a torture camp and it's still open, as it should be.
    5. Good thing here. Cleaning up the environment is good, as long as it at the same time isn't overstated. Too bad it really hasn't created any new jobs. Hopefully that will change.
    6. Great, Charter schools, something that will further ruin public schools and from reports in the news, aren't meeting educational standards, especially in Detroit.
    7. And what did he do for it? Nothing....
    8. Still waiting for that stimulus plan to do something. Unemployment has risen since the plan was enacted.
    9. Funny how race and nationality isn't supposed to matter since we are all equals, yet this is for some reason is something good that he's done. Forgot to mention that she doesn't deserve it.
    10. That's nice.

I disagree. He is president because he fooled many independents into thinking that he had a plan. Blacks and Liberals would have voted for anyone that was a Democrat so that's nothing new. I just wish people weren't fooled by his reading/speech skills.

I seem to recall the conservative media clowns and the tea-bagger's kept referring to it as Obama's auto bailout. Now that it has proved successful, suddenly all are cheering. If left up to a McCain presidency, the cons would have let GM and Chrysler close, which would have added hundreds of thousands more to the unemployed ranks.

So yes, by this one step alone, Obama saved the U.S. from unemployment skyrocketing even further.

There's a reason why results are hard to come by and I'll let you figure out the reason for that. Plus do the words Crawford Texas and vacation have any correlation for you
What does Bush's vacations have to do with President Obama's failure to deliver on his promises? For that matter, what does that weasel-worded, 90 item list have to do with the long list of broken promises Obama made to the voters?

As for the $.8 trillion stimulus spending plan that was sold by Obama on the promise that it would prevent unemployment from rising beyond 8.5% [[insert laugh here), I think this story from VP Biden's "Summer of Recovery Victory Lap" is illustrative of why results are so hard to come by:
SPIN METER: What Biden didn't mention on stimulus
    By GARANCE BURKE [[AP)

    Aug. 27, 2010

FRESNO, Calif. — Vice President Joe Biden said this week that the Obama administration "hit the accelerator" toward spending $5 billion under the economic stimulus law to weatherize people's homes, create thousands of jobs, help consumers save money and put the nation on track for energy independence.
Yet the weatherization program the vice president highlighted in his visit Thursday to New Hampshire is widely considered among the least organized spending projects under the $814 billion economic stimulus law and has regularly been targeted for criticism of its slow progress by auditors and outsiders. Biden didn't hint much at its troubles. Nearly 18 months since it started, the stimulus weatherization program has experienced spending delays, inefficiencies and mismanagement. In Biden's home state of Delaware, the entire program has been suspended since May, and last month federal auditors identified possible fraud. [read the rest]
Everything in Obama's stimulus plan was supposed to have been "shovel ready" so that spending could begin as soon as possible - which is what needed to happen if there was to be any stimulating effect on the economy.

Instead, 18 months later we have examples like this weatherization program that the bureaucrats can't get off the ground as well as the inexcusably slow pace of stimulus spending at the US Dept. of Energy, where 91.6 percent of the stimulus money that was to be used for energy and conservation block grants remains unspent [source].

The Dept. of Energy's Inspector General explains that they were "hampered by numerous administrative and regulatory challenges associated with implementing a new program", which neatly explains why stimulus results from government spending are so hard to come by.

    1. The government did not bail out the auto industry. They loaned them money, which they have paid back. A bailout is something that does not have to be paid back. Ah ! but the loan came with conditions they had to change their business plan because what they were doing wasn't working. Loan, with no assurance it would be paid back or gift its still a bailout

    2. OK, I like this one, but the troops are still there..... If I recall they were supposed to be home within 18 months of his presidency. He missed by a few months, the previous administration was going to keep us in an never-ending war
    3. Are you serious? All he does is apologize about how horrible the USA is.
Are you serious ? when did he do that

    4. Guantanamo isn't a torture camp and it's still open, as it should be.
that statement flies in the face of the facts going on there. The reason its still open is because we can't convict some of the harder core terrorists because they were tortured.

    5. Good thing here. Cleaning up the environment is good, as long as it at the same time isn't overstated. Too bad it really hasn't created any new jobs. Hopefully that will change. agreed

    6. Great, Charter schools, something that will further ruin public schools and from reports in the news, aren't meeting educational standards, especially in Detroit.
Charter schools are public schools, and some are meeting standards. The point is that it provides more choice

    7. And what did he do for it? Nothing....
Depends on your POV my number 3 gives a good hint as to why he got it

    8. Still waiting for that stimulus plan to do something. Unemployment has risen since the plan was enacted.
Because of politics the stimulus amount stopped the bleeding but the amount was too small to fully heal the economy

    9. Funny how race and nationality isn't supposed to matter since we are all equals, yet this is for some reason is something good that he's done. Forgot to mention that she doesn't deserve it.
Who are you to determine what she deserves. Do you know her record ? Based on her record she deserves it as much as at least two of the right wing hacks currently on the court

    10. That's nice. Sure is

If you don't like him fine, I get that but to say he hasn't done anything flies in the face of facts

You're the one that mentioned golf as in reference to Obama not doing anything so the reference to Crawford Tx was appropriate.

Go to some fact-checking websites[[ you know the third party ones not the ones with an agenda) and check on Obama's campaign promises and how he is doing on them. He generally gets good marks on most of those sites.

Care to back that up with any kind of facts? Or are you just going to keep bullshitting? Obviously it must be a strong analysis because you say it is.

Blacks overwealmingly voted for Obama. Even if race was a factor [[as if people didn't vote against him because of race), Obama won the popular vote by about 10 million votes. About 16 million blacks voted. Now, if what you say is true, he would have to completely bomb the black vote worse than any other demographic in order to lose. Blacks overwealmingly vote Democratic in the first place, regardless of race, so even if he were a Martian, there is virtually no way the vast majority of blacks would vote against a Democratic candidate, causing him to lose.
Basically the only way for him in this scenario, even if he were white, Asian, or otherwise, as long as he were a Democrat, to lose would have been to bar blacks from voting entirely. Which I'm sure you'd be okay with.

In case you didn't know, blacks only make up a little over 10% of the population of this country, and not all of them vote. Obama won 52.9% of the popular vote to a sorry 45.7%. The vast majority of that 52.9% was non-black voters. Obama won countless other demographics besides black people.

Obama did 90 things to social reform this nation. He didn't a post-Soviet way. Many folks including the republicans didn't like his policies and regulations, but its best way to clean up our broken government. Sacrifices have to be made for the greater good of our nation, our future and our free world.

    WORD FROM STREET PROPHET

    God bless Amerika, Comrads!

    Neda, I miss you so.
