    Ray, I don't know whether your original post was prompted by the recent premier [[Tue 8/13) of the PBS series "Family Pictures USA"--- or it's sheer coincidence that Fromm's is featured in the doc.


    The first installment explores the history of Detroit through family pictures and real-life recollections. Good viewing for anyone interested in the history of the city and the uniqueness of its neighborhoods. The link will be good for a month [[9/10). Fromm's is featured at 14:33 for those interested in just that portion.
