Prior to the 1948 war started by the Arab states against the Jews, there were no such thing as "Palestinians". They are Arab, let the Arab states take them in.
But that won't happen since it gives the Arab states an issue with which they can justify their hatred toward Jews.

So yes, I support Israel. period.

Before 1948, that land was known as Palestine. It was so-called in the Franco- British boundary agreement following WWI and for centuries prior to that.

Oh rb336.... you would have to bring up that itty-bitty unpleasantry known as the King David Hotel Bombing of 1946.... that killed 91 innocent people....

Those weren't terrorists killing innocent people... those were "freedom fighters" killing innocent people!!

There is no need to deligitimize Israel. Israel delegitimizes itself by its actions. Israel attacked the flotilla in international waters in the dark of night. The passengers defended themselves. What do you expec?. Those ships were inspected before they left Cyprus but Israel can't take any other country's word that they were not carrying weapons. This blockade of Gaza is not about stopping weapons it is about showing absolute power and control. Israel will have peace when it recognizes the that Palestinians are humans and have the same rights at they Jews do.

I hope for a day when Palestinians and Israeli lives in peace..but that will mean the AIPAC and Neocons as well as the Christian Zionists realize that blind support leads to blindness.. and blindness leads to death in this case.

Fren with all due respect.. there are and always have been people living in the holy land.. at times calles Palestine or other names includiong Israel... but there were villiages and people living there for over six thousand years... see this months National Geographic.. regardless.. the land shoul dbe shared with rights equal for all.. safety for Jews and safety for Arabs also know as Palestinians..
