I would love to see the Matt Millen/Marty Morningweg commercial again where they are sitting on Harleys and talking tough about how they are going to turn the Lion's around.

Does anybody remember a car dealer from the 70's-80s [[around the same time as Mel Farr Superstar) whose wife would always barge in in the middle of his ads and take over? I don't remember if the schtick was "Please buy my cars so I can keep my wife happy" or what, but she was... kinda scary-looking.

What was the car dealership spot that ended with a chorus singing:

    "Main Street! In Royal Oak!"

and a voice announced "north of 11 Mile."

That computer was an IBM Displaywriter. It preceded the PC by a couple of years, first introduced in 1980. It was a dedicated word processor. It boasted an 8086 processor, no graphics or color on the display, and no hard drive, just the old 7 + inch floppy discs that sat in a separate unit affectionately dubbed "The Toaster". That was the first project I worked on when I hired on at Big Blue.

    Jim Fresard:

"Give our regards to Jim Fresard, Main Street is the place to go
tell all the folk in Royal Oak we'll follow those who know..."

    Can't remember the middle part.

"Jim Fresard is on the avenue
    for you
    Jim Fresard! Royal Oak!"
