I hung out at Shay's during my high school years from 1969-73. I knew Bob well and his son Steve. I've got loads of stories about the store. I first met Bob when he had Bell Records on Grand River west of Lahser in Detroit. I was in grade school at the time. The Plymouth Rd. store was on the second block west of Evergreen on the south side of the street. It's been gone for years. Had some great times there. His brother Claude owned the other store in Allen Park.
