Like Thuster 315 I would give Schwartz a pass for now. The coach is in a tough situation. He lacks talent, you can only "coach up" some of these players so far and then one must realize that they are what they are. Some of these guys are not only physically sub-par [[ missed tackles, missed blocks, stupid holding penalties) but they make mental mistakes. The problem is that the coach can't really hold these guys accountable because he has no one better to turn to.
A coach owes it to his team to put it in the best position to win. So unless you are the Pats or another top tier team in the league you cannot afford to be giving out bus tickets to guys that screw up especially if they are your starters.
But you say we have CJ, NS, MS and JB, true but if you go 1 thru 11 on both sides of the ball and special teams I would bet that 70 to 80 percent of the other teams starters are better than ours, and ultimately thats what wins games. Right now with out injuries we are good enough to be competitive in most cases.
All the coaching in the world is not going to change that. When we get more talent, [[first team and depth) then the coaches can start giving out bus tickets when guys screw up over and over and over.
