    I lived on Ashland between Jefferson and Kercheval and was walking to the A&P on Jefferson when I heard the plane's engines sputtering [[couldn't see the plane) but saw a huge fireball go in an arc from west to east. We later went down to the site and the largest pieces of the plane that we found were about 1" x 5".
