The beltway sniper/terrorist is finally dead, John Allen Muhammad, executed in Virginia.
Too bad he wasn't shot and killed on the street, it would have saved the state 1.2 million.

Yeah, a little socialism would be good for this country that founded its immigration practices and goodwill around the world on helping those that were sick, hungry, and in need. It's a shame that those policies didn't look inward to those who needed help at home.

Fort Hood happened because we are more worried about being politically correct and not offending anyone than actually pursuing threats to our country. Events like this are going to continue to happen until we decide that sometimes you might have to hurt a special interest group's feelings in order to save real lives.

Clearly, you can't prosecute pre crime...however, you can, in the military, investigate and discharge the guy from the service. Then, via the Patriot Act, you can keep a close eye on him and others like him.

It's a free country and a free society. The guy had an opinion which differed from what the media is harping is acceptable. Many people gave their lives so we could have a society like that. Free from oppression and judgment of others, free to think on our own, say what we want when we want and not have some goon squad monitoring our every movement and utterance.
