OK, here's the "destructive" legislation that CC will never take the time to show us, since he's too busy running the board and slobbering over Ayn Rand:

Basically, Congress is looking at moving up the date of new regulations because the credit card vultures have been taking advantage of the lag time to stick it to their customers as hard as they can, while they still can. It's like it's last call at the open bar, and the bankers are trying to stuff $500 bottles of champagne down their shirts. How "destructive" of our Congress to try to cut 'em off.

I don't have any credit card debt, pay off every month. BUT - when I was younger, I got into some troubles with a credit card. I was every credit card companies dream, which is probably why I was targeted in college. I learned my lesson but good crawling out of that hole. Even once the debt was squared up, there was the long process of repairing my credit history.

    So remember kids:

Where does that mentality start? Parents? Government? Both?

I sat down the other day and figured my credit card debt out. Needless to say I won't be pulling out the plastic as much. All those deals on auto parts from that big auto parts store on the net that sit on a shelf in my garage ain't such a deal.
As my 'big brother" /cousin tells me alot. "LIVE AND LEARN". And SO I AM.

I still live, and where did I go after I left DetYes. Rock Auto. But to look up part numbers.
I said to myself I would pay off my balance every month yet. Something got lost. I just need to look at my "Granddads" history. I myself will figure it out, and most likely end up in the same boat 10 years from now.
What a good quote, John lodge

Just don't start blaming the company extending you the credit in the first place.
