A few Crown Vics burst into flames AFTER BEING CREAMED in the rear by a another car traveling at freeway speeds, while the Vic in turn was stationary on the side of the freeway.

Those then get recalled and fixed.

Other models recalled for "Fire risk".

    v.s.

3,000 elec cars a year bursting into flames while just sitting there.

    And no recall.

You're not able to spot the difference?

I wouldn't buy an EV until the technology matures but, contrary to your claim, there have been recalls. One easily spotted difference is that a recall may be conducted on an automaker's own initiative, or by order of the NHTSA.

I was referring to Chinese EV's, not the American, German, Japanese and Korean ones that are being sold here.

Of course I for one can't see how they'd ever any of the Chinese EV's to our crash tests.
