You could see this one coming for the last few weeks. Plenty of blame to go around for this poor performance.

  4. #129

Something was off about this game from the beginning especially the missed field goal attempt I thought that the Lions was going to lose this game

Lions have been playing very inconsistent football and are paying the price. Let’s hope they get it together for a red hot Broncos team or it will not be pretty.

They’re not going to win a playoff game with this type of performance. They have been off since the bye week, Goff looks terrible, offensive line looks bad, defense looks bad. Maybe they caught a buzz off reading their press clippings.

Was it really necessary for Goff to be wearing a glove on his throwing hand? It just wasn't that cold.

No reason to panic. When we got our annual 5-6 wins, splitting home and away within the division was very common. Weird year without any premiere teams. Chiefs have lost 4 of 6. Philly loses to Dallas.

Minnie ha-ha won with 3 points. If we can't manage a split with the Vikings, we don't deserve the division.

Nothing is easy in Lion Land!

    WELL DONE COOL CATZ!!!

Turn the bucking Broncos into fillet of Philly.

[[Shotgun) [[Shotgun) J.Goff pass short right to A.St. Brown for 15 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

[[Shotgun) J.Goff pass short right to S.LaPorta for 3 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

J.Goff pass short middle to S.LaPorta for 10 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Defense hold out in the 1st Q.

Lions still in first place by three games.

Minnesota Vikings lost to the Cincy Bengals Green Bay Loss to Tampa Bay Bucs. L.A. Rams or Seattle Seahawks must lose in in order the Lions to clinch the NFC North Division. If not Lions need to win one more game to clinch the NFC North Title for the first time since 1993. Hype them up Campbell.

    ALL IN LIONS.

Not so. All the Lions have to do is beat Minnesota Sunday, and they clinch the division regardless if Seattle wins or loses.

Correct. Lions fully control their own destiny. All they have to do is win 1 of their last 3 and they win the division.

I thought Danny was trying to explain some complex scheme whereby they finished tied at 10-7 with Minny and the other teams affected it but even that didn't make sense.

If the Seahawks lose, Lions clinch the division. If Seahawks win, Lions need to win against the Vikings.

The Seahawks just beat the Eagles [[who were leading for nearly the entire game), so the Lions will now have to wait another week before they can clinch a playoff berth - but that outcome may actually be good for the Lions, as they can clinch the #2 seed if they do some winning over the next three weeks.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!! After 30 years The Detroit Lions are now 2023 NFC North Divisional Champions. Thank you Coach Campbell. Hype those Lions up the SUPER BOWL!!!

Campbell has done a great job and deservedly gets a lot of credit, but let's not forget Holmes. He turned over the personnel in short order. That Stafford trade was a win-win. Rams got their Super Bowl and Lions got an influx of talent.

Correct. One of the few times that a trade benefitted both teams. Very similar to the Kings/Pacers trade of Tyrese Haliburton for Domatas Sabonis. Everybody bemoaned Holmes for taking Gibbs so high in the draft, [[even though Bijan Robinson went higher) and he may be the best offensive rookie in the NFL this year, along with LaPorta. Excellent drafting by Holmes.

    Cowboys lassoed the Lions.

    COWBOYS 20
    LIONS 19

    11-5

    Sixteen down one to go.

Goff started to Goof off later on his passes.

NO HUDDLE J.Goff pass short left intended for S.LaPorta INTERCEPTED by D.Wilson at DET 29. D.Wilson to DET 29 for no gain [[S.LaPorta).

Defense did fine early in the game.

D.Prescott pass short right intended for C.Lamb INTERCEPTED by I.Melifonwu at DET 19. I.Melifonwu to DET 43 for 24 yards [[C.Lamb).

D.Prescott pass short right to C.Lamb to DET 1 for 4 yards [[K.Vildor). FUMBLES [[K.Vildor), ball out of bounds in End Zone, Touchback.

Then slow down making the Cowboys score their TD and a game winning field goal.

We can't have one slip up in the playoffs. Or our journey ends. Hype those Lions Campbell.

Both have done "one hell of a job" turning this losing culture around! Just look how many Bozo's who came, tried, then were tossed out of town without change. Even all of the 4th down antics by Campbell, go for it, we have a WINNING culture/team which believes 4th is just another down they will make!

Insanity is doing the same thing over & over expecting different results, Campbell & crew are Not doing the same thing!

    Carry On. . . ...

Can't you play your starters but rest your 5-6 most important players, and we all know who they are, or does that send a wrong message to the other starters?

How do you guys feel about the Lions facing Stafford and the Rams for the first time since the trade, and who wins?
