This is a projection and not a fact. "The Congressional Budget Office projects that health insurance premiums will increase by an average of 10 percent to 13 percent as a result of the health care law, not including the effect of the subsidies." I wonder how much they will increase including what taxpayers pay to cover subsidies.

I liked the promise better. "I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year." In fairness, the $2,500 was supposed to cover out of pocket expenses.

Well I went to the website today and helped my parents enroll. Able to create an account and go through the whole process so the website seems to be working for me. Parents are retiring this year. They are going to save $8k a year. Some serious money from their previous plan. Still have Blue Cross and with the savings they added a dental plan which they didn't have before. Just giving a real life story. Obamacare is alright in my book.

I came across a well written fun article about a reporter who tags along with two cheerful upbeat young ladies going door to door as employees of "Get Covered America, the boots-on-the-ground division of Enroll America, which bills itself as a “nonpartisan 501[[c)[[3) organization whose mission is to maximize the number of uninsured Americans who enroll in health coverage made available by the Affordable Care Act.”

All I've seen my insurance do in the past two years is skyrocket in price, this past year being worse than the one before and we've already been warned that next year will be a shock. My deductibles are through the roof and my out of pocket costs make it almost seem like I don't even have coverage. This shit needs to go away because it's draining my pockets.

IMO, to some extent not enough people [[dem or repub) have been effected positively or neg. for opinions to ditch partisan anchoring/ reference.

Participation: voluntary or compelled is still fairly low.

Once the employer mandates roll out we'll really see a stronger, more uniform [[and bipartisan) opinion on the ACA.

It's to protect the rest of us from the excessive cost of treating people who think the ER is the place to go if you have a cold.

I'm so tired of this comment. You are NOT required to drive, hence you are not required to buy car insurance! Driving is a chosen LUXURY. Live by your job, buy a bike or take the bus and you don't have to buy car insurance. Obama isn't that stupid, but he's saying that because his minions are.
