I had another idea after I typed that.

My office is only 250 sq feet, and it has a window A/C for cooling.

Also, the filters I have are much bigger than the ones in the video. They're 5" thick instead of 2", so they flow way more air.

Tomorrow I'll make up a cardboard adapter to mount one of them in front of my window AC intake. Done.

Sounds like a good plan.

Of course this "particular" {heh} smoke event will end soon but from what I hear more events are expected throughout the Summer so yeah, it's worth some effort to prepare for a recurrence now.
