Is The Godfrey Hotel being erected on the site of the former administration office the Detroit Lions? I recall the Lions having the admin housed in a non-description one-story building across Michigan Avenue from Nemo's bar. Lions moved their admin operation sometime after their last season at Tiger Stadium in 1974.

Yep. The office is long gone and the hotel is almost finished!

I know the building you're referring to but never knew it was the Lions. You'd think with the size of Tiger Stadium they could have found space inside.

Couple treadmills, a bar and 350.00 per night. Crazy how high downtown hotel rates have got to everywhere since the pandemic.
