Thanks. I'm not saying that there's not plenty of good stuff on this forum. It's just the whiff of boosterism with regard to the remaindering of Detroit's real estate after the mob got its casinos. I don't know a better way to say it than calling it Monopoly as a spectator sport.

Not at all sure of what your point is for starting this thread? I've been on this forum for 24 years, and we've talked about such a variety of different topics that you can find something on just about anything if you use the search function. As for boosterism... isn't that what this forum is all about? The evolution of going from Ruin Porn to Rebirth for so much related to Detroit.

And yes... it will still be a work in progress for so many many years...

It’s the cities job to instill hope and make it appear as though the city is moving forward,can’t really expect them to say sorry guys we are screwed,might as well pack it up.
