Here's Hinckley's YouTube channel.
Seems he was influenced by Bob Dylan.
He lacks Dylan's sublime vocal chops. But then again, who doesn't?
Hinckley's mental illness was mild by today's standards. He only wanted to impress a girl with whom he had a fixation [and who doesn't resemble that remark after puberty?]
He was found not guilty by reason of insanity. Unhappiness with the verdict led to the Insanity Defense Reform Act [IDRA] of 1984, which changed rules regarding the mental illness of criminal defendants in Federal courts.
If not for IDRA, half the U.S. could plead insanity, including Maralago Mussolini, Proud Boys, Pizzagaters, QAnons, etc., and too many others to mention with chronic diminished capacity.

Gee Whalley, you forgot to mention the libtards that burned down $9 billion dollars worth of American cities, including countless people's livelihoods, historic buildings and courthouse, and held people hostage for weeks, and, of course, Detroit will breed.

He wouldn't be the first assassin to form a band...
It appears you can double that number.

Out of retirement? Tiny Tim died in 1996.
Hmm. He does kind of look like a zombie.
