Even though I'm certain the ev's are coming fast and furious, someone needs to tell Biden they're not here yet. He recently said the feds are going to buy a fleet of U.S. ev's when he takes office. For the purposes he had in mind there are none from any U.S. automaker.

I heard years ago that the USPS had plans to replace their entire fleet with EVs. Big Oil smacked 'em down with that onerous requirement to fund retirements of employees not yet born. It's amazing USPS still survives.

It sounds like Ford is moving fast with their E-Transit delivery vans. Workhorse, a company that supposedly bought the GM plant in Lordstown Ohio is currently building about a 1000 E vans for UPS. Amazon is going all EV.
I think this is where the technology is really going to take off. I believe the USPS is already looking for a manufacturer to build their vehicles. What’s taking time is they do want them built in the U.S.
This probably is the best way to advance the technology. Delivery vehicles that run locally and can be plugged in at regular intervals.
On another note, there is a lot of change going on to remove the cobalt issue. It’s getting better. Remember, it’s in the cell phones too. It’s nice to see that people are concerned and attempting to do things right.
