That would require a lobotomy.I'm sorry, am I reading the same thread you are?
I thought it was irish_mafia who just called the president a dufus and an idiot. I don't think you would classify irish_mafia as a liberal, and I doubt you would classify Obama as espousing conservative ideas. So where does that leave your premise?
Physician, heal thyself.
Then invasive surgery to remove the cancerous Rehtuglican tumors that render this patient terminal.
lol. Knew you'd catch that one elganned.... am I reading the same thread you are?

And Troy? And the dozens of other stops? And the town Halls? And the tens of thousands of people?
Oops, never mind libs, keep on believing it is a fringe group.
Yeah, you're right, don't pay those kooks any attention.
These are the same, bussed in, frothing, foaming at the mouth fleabaggers who are controlled by the cult know as "Freedom Works", sponsored/founded by Dick Armey, who thought it appropriate to label Barney Frank "Barney Fag" on the house floor.
Guess the troglodytes in South Carolina can sympathize with this. Joe Wilson, the thug who decided to lose his job over calling Obama a liar is a member of "Sons of Confederate Veterans" which means he might as well have called Obama a liar while wearing his white hood.
The fruitcakes who travel around attending only Democratic town halls are nothing more than a fringe minority, period.
They are responsible for fomenting racism, though, and this will only worsen until their speech renders them dangers to the president's security.
I have seen the light...That's right libs, pay no attention to the hundreds of thousands [[after tomorrow) gathering across the country. While you are at it, polls don't mean anything either....the liberal socialists will reign in perpetuity. As such, there is no need to respond to this facade of a groundswell for the opposition.
Obama's approval rating is below 50% and dropping fast.
That means over half the country isnt happy with the job he's doing.
Obviously Democrats are as out of touch with the American people as the Republicans were.
Washington's problem is they talk talk talk and never listen.
Lame argument, knowing a former secret service agent, security is as tight as a drum as it should be.
It would help if you provided a link to your sources like this: Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval [[which disagrees with you).Obama's approval rating is below 50% and dropping fast.
I fully expect him to go as far below 50% as necessary to secure health care for all of his detractors. Sample the polls after that feat and be prepared for a shock. And automatically lumping undecideds into one camp or the other is equally disingenuous. That means over half the country isnt happy with the job he's doing.

Jimaz is right, don't believe polls, ignore those kooks demonstrating for liberty [[and don't believe the numbers of actual protesters/demonstrators in attendance across the country is well over 100,000 for 9/12/09), and keep listening/watching CNBC/ABC/CBS/CNN [[they REALLY need the ratings).
Fox said there was 200 million.
Protesting for liberty? What rights has the federal government taken away since January 20?Jimaz is right, don't believe polls, ignore those kooks demonstrating for liberty [[and don't believe the numbers of actual protesters/demonstrators in attendance across the country is well over 100,000 for 9/12/09), and keep listening/watching CNBC/ABC/CBS/CNN [[they REALLY need the ratings).
The teabaggers aren't protesting in favor of liberty. These people are protesting against their civic responsibilities. And rational thought.
No, no, no--ghettopalmetto, you don't understand!
These people want their country back--you know, the one where uppity niggers knew their place and didn't run for political office and old folks had the decency to die when we couldn't afford them anymore and the only people who bought foreign cars were Communists in thrall to the Godless foreigners who want to destroy our nation and take away our guns and SUVs.
Wake up! Obama is the Anti-Christ! Woe and desolation will be upon us all!!
[[Or not...)
And now, Bill Maher's response to the protest march.

What rights? THe primary right...individual property rights. How so? Escalating confiscatory taxation.
I suppose we're collectively hoping that this er, "movement," will run its course with little or no lasting impact...much like its psychological counterpart: a two year-old's temper tantrum.I have seen the light...That's right libs, pay no attention to the hundreds of thousands [[after tomorrow) gathering across the country. Anyone ever read the Articles of Secession that most of the Confederate states passed in 1861? The primary justification for dissolving the union was that the government wasn't protecting Southern property rights.
'Course the "property" in question was runaway slaves that the Feds weren't vigorously hunting down and returning, but that's peripheral to the issue, I guess...
Before I garner a host of responses let me state categorically that I am NOT saying that the teabaggers are advocating a return to slavery.
What I AM saying is that there are times and places when property rights are NOT the most salient question.
Haven't you been paying attention? Since January 20, the federal government has been seizing the property of every American and forcing them into concentration camps. Before you know it, we'll all be conscripted and ordered to invade Canada.Anyone ever read the Articles of Secession that most of the Confederate states passed in 1861? Senator Obama voted for FISA and President Obama further strengthened the federal government's ability to wiretap Americans without court orders. President Obama has announced plans to give the private bank owned Federal Reserve even more power to operate without transparency and the oversite of Congress. Porkulus was a huge transfer of taxpayer money to special interests. A middle class cap and trade tax seems to be on the way. When the government spends one's money, its owner no longer has the liberty to determine how it is spent.
Our armies are spreading into Afghanistan and maybe Pakistan. More money will be required for those options. Since when have these elective wars ever promoted liberty back home?
How much of the Patriot Act has been revoked since Obama came to town? If such legislation was bad when Bush pushed it through Congress, why is it ok now or is Obama much more like Bush than generally recognized?
In the national health care speech, President Obama said that everyone will be required to purchase health care insurance; sort of like buying car insurance. Does anyone want to take a shot at how the President could explain to Amish farmers how and why the Constitution allows them to be forced to pay for health insurance?
