Most Americans wouldn't show up on someone's lawn or front porch in the middle of the night with demands. The Democrats end game seems to be they're counting on getting the rioter's votes if they don't interfere. That will probably work on a national level, because people are sitting at home, watching this on TV and saying "good, give it to that Trump" unaffected. It might not work on a local level, if you've been sitting in your home for the last 60 days, afraid to go out, can't work or open your business.

I think there's some truth to that.

Wise people are able to learn things by listening to those that are older, wiser and more successful than themselves.

But fools only learn things the hard way.

If the Right [[or conservatives, or the government or whomever) step in and stomp this out,.. the fools won't have learned a thing. In fact, they'll just get more adamant that they know better and that they didn't have a chance to put their idiot ideas into action. And they'll try again.

IF,.. we let them have their way for a little while,.. and it leads to ruin,.. PERHAPS then they'll learn a little something.

Of course in 15 years there will be another generation of fools that will do this all over again.

One thing is key for sure,.. we CANNOT bail out the leftists cities that are allowing this, or are acting as sanctuary cities.

When it leads to their ruin,.. they must be allowed to suffer the consequences,.. otherwise this will just keep repeating.

This is one of the reasons I post tabloidy Dailymail posts as they tend to run alot of photos per articles and not just those expedient to one side or another. If most of these misleading headlines were paired with actual photos that convey facts more opinions would shift.

I mentioned elsewhere here that the far right may have a hand in keeping it going so as to chase a few voters to 'side of law and order' in November. The far left keep it going as poke in the eye to Trump.

Their own communities be damned. Especially in that at this point they are hurting the very own business and people they pretend to champion.

But most of the gone-wild states are solidly dem and or far left. So the changing of votes ain't gonna work for the right. Maybe in a swing state like Michigan. Not Washington.

Hush your mouth! I read that post and it definitely is a possibility. But as I posted somewhere else, this is being televised. The riot appeal, or lack of, reaches a far greater audience then just Portland. Both parties and the media could be fanning the flames.
