Well, this could use context. Who did the shooting, for starters.

Obviously had there been no CHOP, there would have been zero instances of crime and violence in the city of Seattle during the same time frame. Obviously.

But I've noticed this is the trend now, ANY crime committed ANYWHERE by anyone is now 110% the fault of George Floyd Protesters/BLM/ANTIFA/<insert your liberal boogeyman here>. Because America was a crime-free paradise prior to George Floyd's death and those pesky protesters not letting the police do their jobs however they see fit with absolutely no oversight or accountability!

Violent crime in Seattle is generally pretty low, but especially in the Capitol Hill area in particular. My brother in law lives in Seattle, and said that shootings in Seattle are not particularly common, and very rare in that part of town. Four shootings in a week, in that part of town, is a LOT.

Imagine if Detroit goes through a whole summer of festivals at Hart Plaza with no issues. Then one festival comes up in September and five people are shot. Would you say there is a potential problem with Hart Plaza, or a problem with the festival?

Seattle mayor said the crime and violence in the CHOP area was up 525%.

Shootings in New York were almost triple.

Chicago? Whew,.. a train-wreck most weekends. A month ago thy had 85 in a weekend, with 24 fatal.

I don't think this violence is organic. Some of it is almost certainly pent up anger, depression, desperation etc from the lock-downs,.. but I think something more nefarious may be at play. The Marxist media is doing it's best to stoke the flames.

And now, a message from Dr. Carson. [[ < To be read in the voice of the guy that introduces "Deep Thoughts" By Jack Handy on SNL)
