I would have said,Biden picked another progressive commie socialist as his crawling mate.To add injury to insult she is from California.

She always said to eliminate the electoral vote and then calls Trump a danger to democracy.

It does show the racist tendencies of the Democratic Party, picking skin color as a priority.

When Biden does not win does that Harris will have lost twice in the same election?

Agree. Now maybe the haters will stop with "she's only doing it because she want's the VP position"..."she doesn't care about the people of Michigan".

The Democrats biggest problem is going to be keeping their old white Trojan horse together until after the election [[And again if he wins, inauguration day). I have a feeling Kamala Harris might be the type to jump the gun a bit and end up making their true plans a little too obvious.

I have not quite figured out what she is.

    They say she is Jamaican/Indian
The news calls her African American

    This one
Black woman & first Asian-American/Indian to be a VP nominee of major party.

Considering it is Biden he is probably thinking he needed to pick a woman to do the dishes.

I have always felt she is to emotional and you cannot base decisions on emotions.

Watch her tearful and angry rebuttal against Biden on the bussing issues, when she was commenting and grilling during the Judge hearings, even during the impeachment hearings,it does not appear that she can separate emotions from decision making.

Then the whole, throw people in jail for smoking pot, while admitting to smoking pot.

The markets were not to enthusiastic about the news, not a good early sign.

Do you honestly believe Biden picked a female crawling mate because he wanted to?

How come Obama picked a white male and not a woman of color for his running mate?

Was Obama sending a message that there were no qualified women or even more women of color at that time?

Or have they now become trinkets to appease ?

What is interesting is he has a history of being touchy with woman but the other day when a man standing next to him on stage grabbed his arm to raise it in victory,Biden gave him a look as to say,why are you touching me?

He is old school and spent the prime of his life when a woman’s place was in the home,if his view on women was any different he would not be so quick to touch women strangers.

I was raised where you just do not touch strange women without permission,I married a PR where it was acceptable to greet strangers with a hug n kiss on the cheek and still found it awkward.

Harris did not exactly collect a ton of support on her presidential run, what 2%? So how much is she really bringing to the table outside of theatrics?

ALL candidates choose a running mate that they think will appeal to a certain portion of their base.
Look at Trump, he chose a career politician who is a far right born again Christian because that's what he needed because he is none of those things. Without Pence he wouldn't have had any political experience or Christianity on his ticket

Which is what's so odd about the Harris choice. She adds almost nothing to the ticket.

She's not African American,... and her policies on incarceration of blacks makes her very disliked in that community [[in the primary, she never finished higher than third, even when there was only 8 left in the field).

She doesn't bring over a state for Biden. [[Usually someone from a state that's highly contended and would probably go the other way is picked, hoping the VP pick can bring over a state,.. like Texas or Florida. Harris is from Cali, which is going to go Dem no matter what).

She isn't respected by women that I can tell. She got her start in politics when she was 29, by sleeping with a married 60 year old politician.

She attacked Biden over his long history of racism in the primaries. So you know that's going to keep coming up in the run up to the election.

    Etc, etc...

Easy to see why the president considers her a dream opponent.

The reality is,.. both Biden and Harris are vacuous candidates, ones the establishment elites, Wall Street etc know they can easily control. They'll do whatever they're told.

Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump were donating money to Kamala Harris' political campaign as late as 2014, just one year before Trump announced he was running for the Republican nomination.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/campaig...ewed-attention

According to the California Secretary of State, the Trumps donated a total of $8,000 to Harris’s campaigns from 2011-2014.

They desperately wanted Biden to pick Susan Rice so they could revive their anti-Obama attack playbook. Benghazi! Harris is a safe pick and there's really not anything they can attack her for, so expect generic attacks of her being a "radical socialist" and other such bullshit that has no basis in reality or the votes that she has cast.

What this means in practical terms is that lacking any real material to attack her with, the GOP is going to default to their usual trend of dog-whistle and codeword attacks. The attacks on Harris will be dripping with sexism, misogyny, and racism. It's already begun. Tucker Carlson was INTENTIONALLY mispronouncing her first name on his show last night, even after being called out and corrected by a guest. And Trump himself has called her nomination an "insult to men." They just can't help themselves, it's who they are at the core.

I'll make my prediction right now: Republicans are going to get SLAUGHTERED in the suburbs in November. They will lose among women by a historic margin.

Joe made the smart choice, which is what he's been doing for his entire life. Harris is an incredible lady who ran California's Attorney General Office of thousands of people and knows how to rightly reform the Justice System. She built herself up to this level, just like Joe Biden. They are the American Dream and know how to lead. Silver spoon Donald Trump can only talk, plead, and fumble his way to this mess of a country right now. People are ready for steady hands on the wheel.
