    I wonder what is going to be in the spot that Hard Rock is vacating. Do you think that Microsoft will open a store there? It will be well secured with the only way to enter the store is through the Meridan lobby where security would be. Would that spot be a great location for an Apple Store as well?

    IMHO, Hard Rock is an atmosphere-in-a-box restaurant chain with pretensions. I ate at the one in Beijing. Unremarkable except for the food poisoning that laid me out for 24 hours.

    It is such a pity... I loved going there even celebrated my birthday once in Hard Rock when I was renting property in Michigan https://tranio.com/usa/mi/ and visiting Detroit many times.

    hmm... if it is converted to a non-restaurant function, I wonder how expensive renovations would be. certainly there are already plenty of restaurants downtown, and probably more to come. What is typically featured in a Microsoft Store?
