Much to my suprise, I run across the Columbia while paddling up the Buffalo River. I had assumed the it was already on the Hudson.

Moving the Columbia into the Hudson is "Phasee 4" of their restoration plan. I would involve towing the ship up the St. Lawrence River and down the East Coast, not an inexpensive prodject.

I'm one of those people to let a sleeping dog lie. I've seen so many viable Navy ships get sold to our now enemy's that it sickens me.
