Our players pay income tax to other states, provinces and cities that they play their away games in as well.
The amount of tax paid is based on days worked in the city. Since they will now be "working" in the city every day they are not traveling for road games [[i.e. practicing or working out on non game days), I would think the ratio of days in the city to days not in the city will be a lot more than 50%.
